Bibs aren’t for everyone, but omitting bib straps risks losing the stability and confidence of maintaining coverage in back and keeping the insert locked into position. We see opportunity where other manufacturers see challenge, and the H.laalalaiShorts’ combination of patterning and materials makes it seem like the answer was easy all along.

Beginning at the wide, unrestrictive waistband, the shorts rise across the lower back to eliminate gaps between shorts and jersey and provide an anchor to hold the compressive paneling and insert in place. No need for constant readjusting in either direction. The waistband’s effective minimalism extends through the shorts’ bodies, whose clean aesthetics are the result of function-first design privileging gentle compression, seam reduction, and years-long durability.

S7 generation	The latest generation of ASSOS cycling shorts, employing technology and fabrics engineered over a 5 year period.
Type.439 Diadema	A textile design created with our fabric suppliers to meet our demands of performance, comfort and durability. Unique within the industry, the weave has two different rates of 4-way stretch, requiring great expertise to maximise the elasticity of the fabric on the cutting table.
AeroFit	A soft warp knit fabric used here on the front hem which has great ventilation properties.
Aero Patterning Fenomeno1 design:	Drawing on learnings from our project to create the fastest skinsuit at the 2012 Olympics, this original design involves crafting the garment with a single seam that sits on the rear of your legs causing the main fabric of the shorts to wrap around your thighs, providing a unique level of comfort and compression.
RegularFit	A body mapped performance fit that is a little less aggressive than our racingFit. The best of both worlds, wearability and speed converging.
Y7 frame carrier bibTech	A bib redesign that involving using a wider cut of elastic for less pressure on your shoulders, resulting in less friction and more comfort.
Lady_S7 insert	High tech chamois pad with 8mm of memory foam, perfectly shaped for the female body.
